In pregnancy, yoga can support mums-to-be in maintaining strength and flexibility, and having some all-important time out of a busy week to relax and connect with your growing baby. Weekly classes can help relieve common pregnancy aches and pains, such as back-ache and mild Pelvic Girdle Pain, as well as offering the chance to practise possible labouring and birthing positions. The breathing techniques practised in class can be beneficial for reducing anxiety during pregnancy, and supporting mum through birth and beyond. Classes are suitable for beginners, and for ladies from 14 weeks right up until birth.

Postnatal yoga icon

After having baby, new mums are welcome to come along to Mum and Baby Yoga with their little ones. Classes are small and friendly, and suitable from 6weeks-crawling. Classes include postnatal yoga for mums, focusing on safely restoring core strength and stability after birth. We talk about common postnatal issues, such as back and shoulder pain, diastasis recti (abdominal separation) and restoring pelvic floor strength. Meeting other new mums from the local area can offer support in this new transition into motherhood, with sleep (or lack of!) often being a hot topic of conversation!
